Planning Reference

What is a planning reference?

A planning reference (or planning file number) is the number a planning authority gives to each application — for example SD21A/0123 in South Dublin or 2675 in Wicklow. It appears on the site notice, the newspaper notice and every decision. With it you can find the decision, the conditions, any appeal to An Coimisiún Pleanála and the date the permission expires.
